I think it's important to note though that a full story does arrive via email if it is not paywalled. That is, if you send a free article to subscribed readers/followers (that have opted to share their email with you), then it will arrive in its entirety in the inbox rather than just providing a story link with a preview. So, in that sense, it does function in a manner akin to a newsletter, though I believe the story is still relatively more accessible than a traditional Medium publication newsletter is.
