I remember really liking Fringe and its exploration of parallel universes, but I do think the show peaked in Season 3. Its final two years lacked the confidence it had early on and didn't quite capitalize on the multiverse concept. I do believe the STARZ series Counterpart, which also explored parallel realities and doppelgangers would be another series to watch, given your interest in the topic.
